Serve as the Environmental Technical Resource to the mill in areas including air, dangerous waste, SARA, solid waste, and wastewater.
Must be able to prepare permit applications and environmental reports for regulatory agencies; complete the site inspections and audits; provide appropriate training on environmental topics; maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies and the community.This position will also ensure the Mill?s compliance with State, Federal, and Corporate Environmental regulations and guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, civil or mechanical engineering, 2+ years of recent environmental experience in manufacturing, preferably in a pulp and paper industry. Knowledge-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to work with all levels of the organization, ability to build partnerships, computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
