RockTenn Recycle Division has an opportunity for an Assistant General Manager at our Huntsville, AL, plant. The plant currently has one baler and typically employs 15 to 20 employees.
The Assistant General Manager of a RockTenn recycled fiber plant assists the General Manager in the management of all aspects of the facility. These include business management, sales management, plant operations, compliance, safety and environmental, office management, transportation and DOT management, and meeting corporate profit goals.
Our plant goal is to increase the amount of tonnage the plant processes through business development and to capitalize on untapped opportunity in the region.
The Assistant General Manager role is also considered a training role for eventual responsibility as a General Manager at one of our recycled fiber plants.
