PLANT MANAGER I-PKG

Responsibilities

-The Plant Manager manages all aspects of a single corrugating operation with one converting die cutter. -Helps promote and develop talent; drive Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives; and develops plans and implements process improvement with staff. -A Plant Manager also ensures production and delivery of quality products at lowest costs, consistent with customer requirements and company plans and profit objectives. This position is required to develop new policies, methods and procedures that impact an operation or facility and manage supervisory personnel, and interpret and apply policies.

Education

-A 4-year college degree is required; or a minimum of 5 years corrugated experience.

Basic Qualifications

-Prior corrugated management experience, a solid/working knowledge is needed in equipment servicing, planning/scheduling, mechanical maintenance, plant engineering, quality and safety.

-This job regularly requires interpersonal communications such as advising, recommending, or counseling, directing or delegating, exchanging information, selling, persuading or influencing and telephone communications; group communications such as participating in meetings or group discussions and conducting meetings or leading group discussions; and composing written communications such as documentation, internal memoranda and letters as well as spreadsheet and Word document proficiency.
