SR PROCESS CNTRL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
*Provide excellent process control technical design, implementation and support for any ongoing mill operation and projects.
*Process control engineering assignmentsincluding, but not limited to:
-Technical support of Mill operations;
-Control logic and HMI configuration and documentation;
-Project installation support including instrumentation specification, system architecture definition, coordination of A&E and Supplier Engineering resources, checkout and commissioning activities;
-process performance evaluation and optimization tuning;
-application of advanced control strategies;
-troubleshooting and support of E/I maintenance, over-site of associated process documentation (loop sheet, PID, Elec. Elem.);
-process simulation and training support.
*Service contract management as applicable.

Education:
*Bachelor of Science degree in a related field, such as Pulp and Paper Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Basic Qualifications:
*Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an industrial setting with preference in paper and pulp

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
*Effectively utilize the DMF process for major decisions.
*Support and drive Operations Excellence Process.
*Lead by skillfully managing discussion, problem solving, and decision making.
*Strong understanding of maintenance reliability principles.
*Strong project management abilities.
