SR PROCESS ENGINEER

Description:

Leaf River Cellulose is a single line mill built in 1984 and produces up to 2000 ADSTPD bleached kraft market pulp and fluff pulp. The mill's workforce is streamlined and process engineers work daily with operations leaders and management. This position reports to the Technology Leader and performs chemical/process engineering work in the analysis, planning and control of the pulp manufacturing process. The position supports and helps develop the mill and company technology plans, is expected to bring ideas of how to improve operations and profits, and is considered a treasured mill asset. This position is given much authority, influence and responsibility. Position may initially support the dryer/machine area, but prior knowledge of the area is not a requirement.

Qualifications:

-Prior paper or board machines experience or fluff grade production is a plus.

-Title/Role is dependent on experience level.

-Requires Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.

-Two to ten years of relatedexperience in Chemical Engineering fieldrequired.
