Description:
Maintenance Supervisor / Gatekeeper

Under the direction of the Plant Reliability Manager, this position is responsible for supervising all plant maintenance functions involving employees, equipment, buildings, systems and grounds. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for parts inventory and purchasing and maintaining the CMMS. The supervisor will be responsible for communicating and leading departmental goals that drive profitability

Education
-An Associates Degree and minimum of 3 years maintenance supervisory experience or equivalent education and work experience.

Basic Qualifications
-Minimum of3 years maintenance experience required
-Ability to work overtime and perform shift work Supervisory experience required.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities -For this job, an advanced level of knowledge is needed in MP2 or CMMS, electronic testing, equipment servicing, maintenance planning and scheduling, mechanical maintenance and steam power generation.

-A solid working knowledge is required in Electrical testing and maintenance, industrial mechanical systems, project management, inventory control, material (parts) handling, storage and purchasing, safety work systems and administrative functions.

-This job regularly requires interpersonal communications such as advising, recommending, or counseling, directing or delegating, exchanging information and telephone communications; group communications such as participating in meetings or group discussions; and composing written communications such as documentation.
