INVISTA is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer (Air Focused) to join our team in Orange, TX.

Position Responsibilities :
     * Providing support to the Environmental Air Manager in developing, executing and maintaining site compliance with permits and air regulatory requirements
     * Responsible for air compliance with requirements such as Title V, HON (Hazardous Organic NESHAPS (National Emission Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants)), and MON (Miscellaneous Organic NESHAPS), BWON (Benzene Waste Organic NESHAPS), etc.
     * Track key compliance metrics and implements systems to improve performance
     * Creation and maintenance of environmental management systems to comply with air permits and air regulations
     * Serve as a point of contact and provide technical support for air compliance questions for facility staff
     * Support initiatives programs related to air compliance/compliance demonstrations.  Identify training required for air permitting compliance and work to help implement training to operation, engineering, and other facility staff
     * Release reporting and recordkeeping as required by company policy, environmental regulations, and environmental air permits
     * Knowledge of federal and state laws governing air compliance programs
     * Good interpersonal skills working with unit operators and management
     * Good verbal and written communication skills
     * Good analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple activities at the same time

Education and Skills Required:
     * A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental or other related Engineering or Science degree
     * Knowledge of federal and state laws governing environmental compliance programs
     * Good verbal and written communication skills
     * Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience and Skills Preferred:
     * Minimum 5 years of industrial experience
     * Experience with reports to state and federal agencies
     * Experience in managing compliance for air sources, including documenting regulatory applicability determinations, verifying process streams, understanding mitigation and controls devices, performing emissions monitoring, and calculating air emissions at a large industrial chemical or refining facility

·         Experience in compliance with BWON requirements

·         Texas specific air compliance experience

·         Chemical or refining experience

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
     * Must be able to view job sites in the field
     * Must be able to climb stairs in operating unit
     * Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions for various periods of time
     * Must be willing to work periodic workdays in excess of 8 hours
     * Must be willing to relocate to Orange, TX
